• If a recording fails, you can now tap "Try again" to run it again and get your text back.
• Coming back after time offline now offers a quick "Retry" to check your subscription, instead of asking you to subscribe again.
• You can finish setup and start dictating even while the speech model is still downloading.
• Pasting your text is faster and no longer freezes for a moment.
• A failed recording no longer copies an error message to your clipboard by mistake.

A steadier Olma, with clearer help when no microphone is found.

• If Olma can't find a microphone, it now tells you what to do and gives you a button to open your Sound settings, instead of leaving you stuck.
• Fixed some rare crashes that could happen when you start or stop a recording quickly, or when you paste with certain keyboard layouts.
• Your find-and-replace rules now work the same way every time you open Olma. Before, two overlapping rules could give a different result after a restart.

A clearer dictionary.

• In your dictionary, a word you add so Olma spells it correctly now shows a small "word" tag, so it's easy to tell apart from your find-and-replace rules.

A smoother first-time setup.

• On first launch, the email step no longer shows a warning while you're still typing. It only appears if you continue with an address that isn't quite right.
• Olma now warms up its speech model quietly in the background right after setup, so your very first dictation is ready straight away.

Recording starts instantly again, and long warm-ups now show their progress.

• Recording now starts the moment you ask. We removed a brief "getting ready" pause that could appear first.
• If Olma needs a longer moment to warm up the first time (usually after a macOS update), it now shows the seconds passing, so you can see it's working and not stuck.

Olma no longer asks you to subscribe when it shouldn't, and a couple of things are clearer.

• Fixed rare cases where Olma could ask you to subscribe even though you'd already paid, or before your free trial had started. Your subscription and trial are now read more reliably when Olma opens.
• Olma detects the language you speak on its own, so there's no language setting to worry about. Just speak, in any of 25 languages.
• If Olma ever can't paste or save what you said, it now tells you clearly and keeps your words safe, instead of looking like nothing went wrong.

Olma now tells you when it's getting ready to use.

• Sometimes Olma needs a short moment to get ready, usually the first time you open it after you update your Mac.
• You'll now see a "Warming up" message so you know it's working, and it clears as soon as Olma is ready.

A few fixes to make Olma steadier and tidy up your custom words.

• Words you add to your vocabulary now get the right capitalisation in what Olma writes. For example, "github" becomes "GitHub".
• Fixed the recording bar getting stuck on "Connecting". This could happen with some Bluetooth microphones or AirPods.
• Olma is steadier when you stop a recording or quickly start another one.

Two small fixes to make Olma smoother and more predictable.

• When you open Olma, you'll no longer see the free trial bar flash for a moment if you've already paid.
• In Formatted mode, Olma now writes down exactly what you say. Even if it sounds like an instruction, Olma just writes it, instead of trying to do it.

Speak in any language, and Olma writes it in English.

• Turn on 'Translate to English' in Settings or the menu bar.
• Then speak in any language, and Olma types it out in clear English.
• It all happens on your Mac. If you're already speaking English, nothing changes.

Olma now has a dark mode.

• Pick how Olma looks: Light, Dark, or match your Mac. It's in Settings.
• Every part of Olma follows your choice.
• The small recording bar now moves smoothly as you speak.

Fixed a crash when you reopen Olma's window.

• Olma no longer crashes if you close its window and then open it again.

Small fixes to make Olma more reliable.

• If you don't say anything, Olma now shows a short 'no speech' message instead of typing nothing.
• If something goes wrong, Olma now says 'try again' instead of only playing an error sound.
• Recording no longer gets stuck if your screen locks or a pop-up appears while you speak.
• Your shortcut no longer starts recording by accident when you press other keys.
• Your list of recordings no longer shows the same item twice.
• If Olma has been offline a while and can't check your subscription, it asks you to reconnect instead of asking you to start a trial again.
